IN-HOUSE TRAINING

Course Dates/Confirmation

We will provisionally hold course dates with our trainers for a period of 10 working days, after which we reserve the right to release these dates if the client has not confirmed. Provisional dates can be requested over the telephone or can be sent via email or fax.

Course Confirmation must be confirmed in writing via email, fax or letter.

Pre Course Pack

Where the Learning Skills Network is handling course administration, participants will receive their pre course pack approximately two weeks prior to the course or at a time the client chooses. Participants who wish to attend once the pre course packs have been sent will be sent their pack on the same day as registering for the course.

Payment

Invoices will be sent upon receipt of the booking and should be paid no later than 14 days prior to the start of the course.

The fee for our courses are based on the Learning Skills Network supplying one trainer per training day and includes tuition and course materials*. There will be no fee for trainer travel unless the client requests a specific trainer to travel to a location other than that agreed. Additional charges will be made if the trainer requires accommodation. Courier transportation of course material and the provision of any agreed films, equipment or licenced products will be charged at standard cost.

*An additional fee will apply for programs that require non standard or specific customized material.

Course Cancellation

Cancellation or postponement of a course - for whatever reason - during a 30 day period before the start of the course will require payment in full.

Amendments

We reserve the right for whatever reason to cancel a course, the client will be offered the alternative of another mutually convenient date or the refund of the course payment in full.  We will not be liable for any loss or expense of the client arising out of such cancellation. In addition, we reserve the right to change the trainer without prior notice.

Special Conditions

The client will not, either directly or indirectly, employ or in any way utilize the services of any person who is under contract, or has previously been contracted by the organization to the client during a period of six months from the last date the services of that person were provided to that client.

Payment

Payment can be made by cheque, or BACS and must be received at least 14 working days prior to the start of the course.

Late Payment

In the event of late payment we reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 2% above base under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Substitutes and Transfers

Substitute delegates are always welcome without penalty up to, and including, the day of the course, but please telephone with the delegate’s name.

If it is necessary to make a transfer please telephone immediately and confirm the new date required. The option to transfer can only be used once and a charge will be made for transfers as follows:

15 - 28 days before the start date - 20% of the course fee
1 - 14 days before the start date - 50% of the course fee

Cancellations

If you do need to cancel a course please telephone as soon as possible to minimise the charges, which will apply as follows:

15 – 28 days before the start date – 50% of the course fee
1 – 14 days before the start date – 100% of the course fee
